A NEW MR PRICE PRO WOMENS CHAMPION WILL BE CROWNED TODAYDURBAN, South Africa (Saturday 7 July, 2007) – Clean 0.5 meter swell is on offer at Durban’s New Pier today, which will see the 2007 Mr Price Pro Women’s Champion crowned at approximately 16h15.
The Women`s Round of 12 is currently underway and will be followed by 8 heats of the Men`s Round of 24. The Women return to the waves for three rounds of woman on woman heats, with Quarterfinals at approximately 13h00, the Semifinals at 14h40 and the Finals at 15h35.
Prize giving takes place at 16h15 when the 2007 champion will be presented with her Mr Price Pro trophy and a cheque for R111 000.
The Mr Price Pro forms part of the Durban Beach Festival and will be broadcast live on SABC.
