Brazil`s Jihad Khodr is the 2007 Mr Price Pro Champion!

Brazil`s Jihad Khodr has won the 2007 Mr Price Pro ahead of French surfer Jeremy Flores. Khodr`s outstanding form saw him post the highest heat total of the event in his semi final, and go on to post an outstanding 9.00 ride and a 7.33 to take the win with an excellent total of 16.33 to Flores` 12.44.

Khodr`s strong finish has rocketed him to third on the WQS rankings, and the powerful natural footer is looking set for a berth on the 2008 Fosters ASP World Tour.

An interview with Mr Price Pro Junior winner Klee Strachan

18-year old Klee Strachan took out the Mr Pice Pro Junior in fine form yesterday, catching the most waves in the heat and rising above a strong contingent of our country``s top juniors to claim the R4000 cheque and the honour of being seeded directly into the Round of 144 in the main event later this week. Craig Ritchie caught up with the powerful natural footer for a quick chat after his win.
